2. Tutorial: Viewer Basics

What this is about

This tutorial will introduce you to the basics of the RADii Viewer, that functions the same across platforms, with slight variations in the inputs. Afterwards you will be able to explore a 3D model with the RADii Viewer.

This tutorial, is based on the PC Viewer Setup. In case you have a Occulus device please first go through the Oculus Viewer Setup.

2.1. Keyboard Assignments

Movement	W,A,S,D
Jump	Space
Shift	Sprint
Q Fly	Up
E Fly	Down
Right Mouse	Main Menus (open,close)
Left Mouse	Operation Menu

2.2. Connect to a Channel

1. Open the Radii Viewer

2. Open the Main Menu

Right-click to open & close the Connect Menu.

3. Connect to channel

Connect to the channel as described in section 3 of the Connect Menu by writing the Channelname, the Nickname and pressing connect.

4. Congratulation

You are now connected to a channel and can explore the model.
